Gem City Birders is a birdwatching interest group which meets at the Wegerzyn Gardens Metropark

The Gem City Birders (GCB) was formed in 1988 by birders looking to enjoy exciting weekend birdwalks throughout the year. Note: May 2008 will be our 50th Anniversary and our last scheduled meeting, so be sure to get involved now while you still can!

OUR MOST RECENT CLUB NEWSLETTER

GCB welcomes all area bird lovers to take part in our discovery of the wild side of life.

Our purpose is to promote birdwatching and environmental protection of natural habitats through field trips, educational programs, and bringing together "birds of a feather" for networking and fun.

We encourage you to expand your birding knowledge and enjoyment beyond your backyard, and join us for a field trip or monthly program.

While it is not necessary to belong to either the GCB or Wegerzyn to participate in the club's activities, your membership makes possible the programs, events, trips, newsletter and educational programs.
